Muslim Messenger and Prophet

The Qur’an considers Jesus a man. He was not God or a god. He had no divine quality. He is portrayed in the Qur’an as a prophet of Islam. This description might sound rather odd to those who are not familiar with the Qur’anic meaning of Islam and think that it is the religion that is associated with Prophet Muhammad only. We will, therefore, first look at the concept of “Islam” in the Qur’an before we discuss the image of Jesus as a Muslim prophet and messenger.
